Piano students learn how to read sheet music, but guitarists, bassists and drummers need tabs! Why? Well, you can find virtually any song you want if you type the song name and the word "bass tab" or "guitar tab" next to it in a search engine. Although some things are lost on tabs (e.g. strumming patterns, loudness, etc.), they make it easy to read, write and play guitar, bass and drums.
These are links to other tab sites. They'll open a new window and
this site will stay underneath it. If you can't take guitar lessons
and learn tabs on the big screen on the left, this is the next best
thing. Have fun and remember - they're usually not 100% right! In
fact, I've tabbed hundreds of songs, but I don't put them on the
internet. I do give them away to my students during guitar and bass
lessons, though.
